All tests - Personality profiles - The refrigerator test

You will be asked four questions and you must rely on your common sense to answer them correctly.

According to Andersen consulting worldwide, around 90% of the professionals they tested got all of the questions wrong. But many pre-school children got several correct answers. Andersen consulting says this conclusively disproves the theory that most professionals have the brains of a four year old.

Q1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

Q2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

Q3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend, except one. Which animal does not attend?

Even if you did not answer the first three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show your abilities.

Q4. There is a river you must cross, but it is inhabited by crocodiles. How do you manage it?

The river is inhabited by crocodiles - meaning it's their habitat. That does not mean that they are currently in the river.

Hmmm, got all four wrong apparently, thought I was supposed to use my common sense. And my common sense says that you don't attempt to place wild animals in the refrigerator, it will be distressing for the animal and may result in being trampled.

You don't put a giraffe in the fridge, or an elephant. A lion can't hold a meeting with other animals, because half would be too scared to come. And you would just find another way across the river where there are no crocodiles.

The questions do not specify the size of the giraffe or the refrigerator so the most logical step would be to assume they are normal sized. Also we have no evidence that these question are connected. The question says 'a refrigerator', not 'the refrigerator' implying it's a new one.

3.An elephant can surely get out of your average fridge, even if it was huge.
4.It says the crocodiles are in the river, yet the answer says they are not.

Haha, even the last question I could have sworn I got right when I thought I'd just turn the refrigerator into a boat. But nope.. 0/4.

Wow. This quiz was very clever, and it's easy to understand why children understand it better than adults! I got ALL of the questions wrong, and I thought they were all unrelated.

Got the first three right but the last one reads "but it is inhabited by crocodiles" meaning the crocodiles are there.
